Fantastic location , all rooms have a beautiful lake view. The room was pet friendly and with a walk out to the grass area. They offered bbq stations , tables outside , perfect for hanging out outdoors. Room was clean with all needed amenities . Breakfast was generous in a very attractive area. Location is close to the lake and an awesome Belfour beach off the Busk rd. Will definitely visit again .

Our one night stay was peaceful, relaxing and quiet. The view off the balcony was spectacular. The hotel grounds are well maintained and a pleasure to wander around. The complementary breakfast was basic but still good and in a more pleasant environment than you will find in most hotels (diverse seatings, windows all around, board games, etc). We will definitely return.

I loved my stay here! The staff were very friendly, amazing views from the balcony of the lake. On arrival, the rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. Great location near the golf course and close to the amazing hot springs. Highly recommend staying here, it was a wonderful time :)

Our stay here was most enjoyable. The accommodations were excellent. The staff were very friendly and accessible. I very much enjoyed the balcony. This is by far the best Best Western hotel I have every stayed at. The grounds had a nice hot tub, a gazebo with two bbq, stainless steel counter and a sink. There were picnic tables available for guest use. Take note that the restaurants in Balfour close by 8 p.m. Ainsworth hot springs were close; as was Nelson. We enjoyed the ferry ride. I plan to return and relax.

Very clean rooms, super friendly staff, beds were very comfortable and the balcony had amazing views. Super peaceful and great location for golfing and for Ainsworth hot springs. Hot tub on grounds is the perfect way to finish off the day. Highly recommend!

Lovely view and room! A great location for a nice trip and it is close to the hot springs! They have a nice common area to lounge in for breakfast and such. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the quiet getaway on this wonderful property! Best part was the hot springs was pretty close by while still being up and out of the way so it’s nice and quiet

While primarily a golf resort, Kootenay Lakeview is open year round. The staff is absolutely amazing and the location is so charming with fantastic views of the mountains and lake. Only 10 mins from Ainsworth Hot Springs, 20 mins from Nelson, and 5 mins from the ferry, we had everything we needed. Be sure to plan your meals accordingly though as many restaurants nearby close in the winter. We had no problems finding restuarants in nearby Nelson.

Highly recommend this resort! The rooms are updated and very clean, stunning views and super-friendly staff. They have a lovely little complimentary breakfast, outdoor jacuzzi and a beautiful golf course just steps away. This is the perfect place to stay for some rest and relaxation. Already planning to come back!
